Music in the Mountains is holding their fundraising event, “A Taste of Spain,” here at the Foothills Event Center next week! They are a local non-profit which provides education to our youth as well as access to amazing music performances. The event will kick off at 5:00 pm on Thursday, September 21st, and end at 9:00 pm.
Join in for an unforgettable night and enjoy a six-course dinner, catered by Antonio Ayestaran Catering. The dinner will feature delicious tapas and wine pairings. Antonio has chosen wines, sherry, and port to harmonize perfectly with the food, enhancing your dining experience. The bar at the Foothills Event Center is beautifully painted with black chalk paint and has some interesting Nevada County history. It once served as the circulation desk at a local library.
The neutral beige and black tones at the Foothills Event Center mean that you can easily decorate our venue to match your event or celebration’s theme! Our event venue space can be easily adapted to fit your decor, because think about it, which colors clash with beige?
Music in the Mountains has enlisted the Ivan Najera Band to provide Latin sounds which will match well with the event’s theme! They’ll be performing on our fully adjustable (and movable) custom-designed thrust stage. The Ivan Najera Band has appeared many times in the past at the Foothills Event Center, including the 15th annual Guitar Extravaganza, and we look forward to welcoming them back!
