nye-2017We’re thrilled to host The Norah Foundation‘s benefit ball on New Year’s Eve! The foundation seeks to spread love and restore hope for children and their families who face a hospital stay due to health issues. The New Year’s Eve Extravaganza will kick off at 8:00 pm on Saturday, December 31st, 2016. It wraps up at 1:00 am on Sunday, January 1, 2017. We hope that you can join us for an evening of dancing, desserts, raffles, games, a champagne toast, and a fun photo booth!

Tickets are $75 each and can be purchased at EventBee.com. It will be a “pink tie event,” meaning that you’re encouraged to spruce up your attire by wearing the event’s theme color, pink.

All proceeds go towards helping families who have a child facing a health-related challenge. Funds raised go towards items like gas cards, hotel stays, and restaurant gift cards for families who have a child in the neonatal or pediatric intensive care. In addition, money raised will go to new toys and books in waiting rooms in the Sacramento area.

norah-foundation-logoThe Norah Foundation was named after Rich and Candace Wilson’s late daughter. Their daughter Norah Marie Wilson, was born four weeks early at Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital last year. She was transported twice, stayed in three different hospitals, underwent surgery to repair a hole in her stomach, and received many blood products.

On The Norah Foundation’s website they share, “Having experienced firsthand the emotional roller coaster of the NICU when our newborn daughter, Norah, became ill, we wanted to help other families navigate the journey with all possible ease. In fact, we think it is our duty– and Norah’s legacy– to do whatever we can to be a source of love and hope for families who find themselves in the midst of this struggle…With the generous help of a tight-knit circle of friends and family, Rich and Candace Wilson proudly established the Norah Foundation. They believe there is no better way to remember their daughter than to see the beauty in every act of love Team Norah orchestrates.”
