The Foothills Event Center is the perfect Nevada County event venue for a celebration of life or memorial service for your loved one. There was a celebration of life service held here last month. It was both understated and elegant, and guests were able to share heartfelt stories about their lost friend.
One guest shared, “What a truly beautiful service yesterday; very emotional throughout. You could feel the love for him. He will be missed by so many!” The family of the deceased created a photo slide show and displayed it on our large projector, for guests to reminisce. They used our movable thrust-style stage for flower arrangements, the projector, and guests’ speeches. Many friends, family, and acquaintances attended the Celebration of Life, so our large ADA-compliant parking lot was definitely put to use. Here are a few photos from the service:

We have separate conversation areas, a modern AV system, and a private room for the family of the deceased. The Foothills has helped with celebration of life service planning for 50 guests all the way up to 400.
