We had an amazing benefit concert for the Lifetime Adoption Foundation here at the Foothills Event Center with special guest, Peppino D’Agostino! He’s a world-renowned musician, earning such awards as Best Acoustic Guitarist by Guitar Player magazine. At this benefit concert held at the Foothills last month, beautiful music filled our ballroom and a wonderful time was had by all!
As you’ll see in the exclusive footage below, watching Peppino D’Agostino play the acoustic guitar is completely mesmerizing! “The response from concert attendees was amazing! After the concert ended and people were heading home, I had one man tell me, amazed, ‘the music is still moving through me!'” says Megan Swinney, Venue Manager of the Foothills Event Center. Now that’s a powerful statement! Says one concert-goer: “For the very last song, Peppino asked all of us to close our eyes and let everything else fade away. It gave the concert an almost meditative vibe!”
At the concert, the Foothills Event Center’s house and premium brands of wine and beer were popular and well-received. Desserts were also served, including vodka buzz balls, Myer’s rum balls, gluten-free cookies, and delicious pies from An Honest Pie.
Peppino D’Agostino will be teaching music classes at the Foothills Event Center soon, so stay tuned for more details to come! He’ll give guitar lessons for beginner through advanced levels sometime in the winter months of next year.
