The sizeable ballroom with its elegant decor and high ceilings is the perfect place for a joyful wedding ceremony and celebration. We’re located in the Sierra Nevada Foothills and a licensed Grass Valley wedding venue. The Foothills Event Center has both indoor and outdoor celebration space available.
 
Our gorgeous venue is lined with enormous windows and romantic sheers. You may use our historic Gold Country bar at your wedding if you wish, and we also have a full stage with sound system and lighting available. The ballroom leads outside to a covered, heated patio for additional entertaining space, which will seat 40 guests.
 
Every wedding at The Foothills includes the availability of our elegant Chiavari chairs, as well as tables to accommodate your needs. At the Foothills, we can seat 280 guests for dinner and 450 in a cocktail-style arrangement. Choose from our selection of décor, linens, glassware and other items available on site to simplify your wedding planning. Allow us to take care of the details, so you can relax and enjoy your wedding day!
 
The Foothills Event Center is centrally located, right off Highway 49 near downtown Grass Valley. You can find directions to the Foothills here. We provide off-street, well-lighted parking for up to 140 cars at no added cost.
