Camp Gan Israel will be held at our event venue in Grass ValleyNext week, the Foothills Event Center will be home to the happiest campers in Nevada County! We’re the chosen event venue in Grass Valley for Camp Gan Israel. From Monday, July 23rd to Friday, July 27th, Camp Gan Israel campers will be presented Jewish-themed songs, art, plays, baking, and sports, to deepen their sense of Jewish pride and understanding. The event is hosted by Chabad of Grass Valley, who held their Purim celebration at the Foothills Event Center this spring.

One of the many benefits of holding your event at the Foothills Event Center is our venue’s adaptability. Our event venue in Grass Valley has been the choice locale for weddings, fundraisers, concerts, memorials, and trade shows, to name a few, and now a children’s summer camp!

Camp Gan Israel is the largest network of Jewish camping in the world. Every summer, more than 200,000 children ranging in age from preschool to junior high attend Camp Gan Israel. It’s a fun, hands-on camp experience for children from diverse Jewish backgrounds. According to Chabad of Grass Valley, “Camp Gan Israel is much more than a break from the school routine and winter activities. It is a comprehensive program, designed to strengthen the body and soul. The goal of the camp is to provide children with a rich and wholesome week of fun and excitement along with friendship and meaningful educational experiences.”

Chyena Yusewitz directs Camp Gan Israel of the Foothills and she plans to have a field trip every day. The camp runs from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. every day of the week at the Foothills Event Center. On Friday, campers will prepare and host a Shabbat Dinner. The camp co-sponsored by Chabad of Grass Valley, the Foothills Event Center and Skeebz Party Rentals.
