For over 40 years, AnimalSave has been providing a continuous level of care to dogs and cats in our county in need of housing. Their mission is to transform the lives of animals and people in our community by finding loving forever homes for animals, providing spay and neuter services, and running a pet food assistance program for low-income families. While they await their forever homes, The Cat Adoption Room and Sanctuary provides shelter for close to 300 animals each year. And AnimalSave’s Low-Cost Spay/Neuter Clinic cares for over 1,600 dogs and cats each year! Proceeds from “A Furry, Furry Night” goes to supporting AnimalSave so it can continue its important programs.
Organized by the Friends of AnimalSave Committee, A Furry, Furry Night will include a live and silent auction with items donated by local businesses. This event is dedicated to the thousands of dogs and cats AnimalSave has rescued and re-homed over the since its inception. Proceeds from fun events like A Furry, Furry Night enable AnimalSave to continue to provide services that transform the lives of cats and dogs in our community.
“We envision a time when all animals are valued and treated with kindness and compassion,” AnimalSave shares on its website. The organization’s mission includes a “focus on preventing overpopulation, suffering, and abandonment…” and seeks to “…foster cultural values of kindness and compassion by opening people’s hearts to the healing presence of companion animals.” A Furry Furry Night is AnimalSave’s most successful fundraiser and provides much-needed resources that support these programs.
Come out and enjoy wonderful dinner, libations, and music. Master of Ceremonies and Auctioneer, Gary Lorentzen, will keep the crowd entertained and bidding for the animals. So don your dressy clothes, grab some friends, and join us for a wonderful night while supporting the animals!
