With his strong voice, pop sensibility, and talent for delivering romantic lyrics, Tyler Rich is singer-songwriter who has an arsenal of radio-ready songs that would fit on any pop country playlist. On Friday, August 23, Tyler Rich will appear live in concert at the Foothills Event Center with opening act Temecula Road. This concert is presented as part of The Center for the Arts’ “OnTheGo” concert series.
A Yuba City native, Tyler was always comfortable in multiple music genres, which led to years of covering songs and writing pop songs. While introducing his amplified sound and infectious energy coast to coast, the 2018 CMT Listen Up Artist moved to Nashville and hit the road to perform with some of the country’s top acts including Dustin Lynch, Dan + Shay, Sam Hunt, Brett Eldredge, Justin Moore, and Cole Swindell. When given the opportunity four years ago to be a solo artist he knew it was finally time to explore Country.
Tyler Rich released his new hit single, Leave Her Wild, on May 13 of this year and it’s set to finally bring him the music career he’s been aspiring towards. Temecula Road will open the evening, a young country group known for their trademark harmonies. They started out by covering classic country hits, which garnered praise from big names such as Carrie Underwood, RaeLynn, Brett Eldredge, and Dan + Shay. Nowadays, Temecula Road is establishing themselves with original songs. “What If I Kissed You” and “Hoping,” the group’s first two singles, have over one million streams on Spotify. Comprised of two sisters and their longtime friend, Temecula Road has been named one of Radio Disney’s NEXT BIG THING artists and called one of the top new country acts to watch by The Huffington Post.
