We’d like to welcome you over for a fun paint & sip class next week, which will be held right here at the Foothills Event Center! Come Paint With Us has a great acrylic painting class, “High Sierra,” happening here next Wednesday night.
Our Creative Director Julia Ward is going to provide step-by-step instructions on how to paint this vibrant representation of the gorgeous Sierra Foothills! Located in the heart of California’s storied Gold Country, our region was the epicenter of the Gold Rush. Here, visitors and natives alike can enjoy some of California’s most breathtaking scenery including famous attractions like Lake Tahoe and Yosemite National Park. This acrylic paint & sip class will be held on Wednesday, October 2nd from 6:00 to 8:30 pm.
During the class, many enjoy taking the time to unwind. Wine, beer, and snacks will be available for purchase from the Foothills Bar. At the end of the class, you’ll take home the work of art that you created. The instructor for next week’s class will be Julia Ward, who also designed the concept for “High Sierra.” Julia shares, “I went on a weekend trip recently to create a collection of paintings which capture the beauty of the late summer days in the Sierras.”
High Sierra has become one of our favorites from that series! Julia will provide you with step-by-step individualized guidance as you paint the natural beauty of the Sierra Foothills. We hope to see you on Wednesday night! At every Come Paint With Us class, you’re supplied with the tools you need to be an artist! Artistic instruction, brushes, a pre-made palette containing all the needed colors of paint, an apron, and high-quality watercolor paper are all provided by us. All proceeds from our painting classes benefit a local 501c3 nonprofit, Lifetime Adoption Foundation. The Foundation provides scholarships to women who have chosen adoption and grants for those seeking to adopt a child.
