We welcomed Peppino D’Agostino for a very popular live concert a couple of years ago, and received so much positive feedback that we’ve booked Peppino once again. Peppino D’Agostino is slated to give a live concert at the Foothills on Saturday, September 21, 2019, at 7:30 pm. Peppino D’Agostino has been acclaimed “a guitarist’s guitarist” by Acoustic Guitar magazine and “a giant of the acoustic guitar” by San Diego Reader. He’s won many coveted guitar awards, including “Best Acoustic Album of All Time” by the Acoustic Guitar’s People’s Choice Awards and “Best Acoustic Guitarist” from Guitar Player magazine.
Originating from Italy, D’Agostino has made a considerable mark internationally as a guitar artist. Guitar One has remarked on his “lyrical artistry” and fellow guitarist Adrian Legg describes the “warm humanity” of his playing. The Chicago Tribune praises Peppino’s “virtuosity and complexity” and his gift for composing “memorable melodies.” And Anchorage Daily News calls Pepino an “astonishing entertainer.”

To date, Peppino has recorded 18 albums and performed in over 33 countries at international festivals and concert halls. He’s also released a book, New Acoustic Guitar (Warner Bros. Publications) and three instructional/performance DVDs. Along with innovative guitar maker Robert Godin, Peppino designed his signature Seagull guitar. This guitar won a Silver People’s Choice Award for Acoustic Guitar of the Year from Acoustic Guitar magazine.
